因為這些動詞是無法持續進行這動作，此類動作都是一瞬間

 

解法：How to resolve continue status?

1.使用被動式：

-I have been married for 10 year

-He has been death

 

 

Please refrain from smoking (請勿吸菸)

This is a sentence I learning last week.  In fact, I confused refrain with resist.  I tried to search a sentence on google to build a relationship on 

resist with “don’t smoking”, but the result is not as my exception.  Finally, it refresh my memory 1 (#1) to bring a different word ‘refrain’ to me.

For me, it is time to practice ‘refrain’ to replace don’t 

 

refrain from smoking

禁止吸煙

refrain from crime

抑制犯罪

to refrain from smoking

戒煙

cannot refrain from laughing

忍不住發笑

To refrain or forbear.

忍住，克制

Please refrain from smoking.

請勿吸煙。

To hold back;refrain.

阻止；抑制

They all sang the refrain.

他們齊聲唱這首歌的迭句。

To refrain from disturbing or interfering.

不打擾防止打攪或干擾

Please refrain from feeding the monkeys.

請勿給猴子喂物。

2014 Personal English Learning Plan

I will continue to improve my English Skill on 2014.  The Goals of 2014 are 3 parts.

1) Review the old material, include KOJEN english center material on B2, B3, B4.

10-20 minutes per day

2) Enlarge my vocabulary and grammar to improve my English writing Skill

10 minutes per day

3) Improve my oral speaking. Begin from improving the listening from some radio and continue to improve my pronunciation.  Hope can make a big progress in oral speaking.

30 minutes per day
